Here's all my cents about the show: Props to Sin Promotions for taking on such an event, but in my opinion it should have been done on a Friday and Saturday in just 1 venue. Even if it was 2 stages like the Shamrock, more money would have been made, all bands would have been playing for more people, it would have been a shitload more convenient for everyone, patrons and bands alike, and all the bands would have been able to play. But that's just me, so hey...whatever floats your boat right? Anywho, onto the bands: I came mainly for In Dire Need, Cannae, Remembering Never, Aganihm, Burn In Silence, BBTS, Freya and Dying Fetus. Burn in Silence was by far my favorite act of the night; great friends and a great band as always, got to sing along and even got a 'shoutout', haha. I hope to see them go places. Aganihm have some meat on their bones, especially for just one guitarist; i hear a lot of pig destroyer and discorance axis in their style, very good. I only got to catch one In Dire Need song, but it was satanic and brutal as always. First time i got to see Summit; glad to see Dan Lozzi is still at it. My only complaint was that the guitar was too quiet. Remembering Never was great; I found that most of the 'preaching' was reasonable, except the whole Jagermeister brainwashing shit. It's called advertising; that means that aaalll those kids wearing remembering never shirts at the show were brainwashing others to listen to RN. Come to think of it, one of my close friends actually got trashed off of Jager with the drummer of RN...interesting. Raising Kubrick was awesome; i had only heard a few mp3's before the show, and i was impressed. Great range of styles, heavy and catchy as hell. and that girl has some pipes. Even though Cannae were completely annihilated, pissed, and shutdown early, it was one of the best performances they've ever given. After sitting around for 12 hours just to play in front of 20 kids, they were pretty damn pissed off...and getting to play only 2 or 3 songs made it worse. there were falling all over the place but didn't mess up at all...that's professionalism, haha. Goratory was sick as well. I like "Shit Fucker", haha. At the moment, no other significant moments stand out, so i'm done talking. Enjoy the novel, hah
