Also they have PA's and workers that would do the work the promoter/friends would do. (doors, sound, etc) It's basically useless to rent a VFW unless you can find one cheap or if a venue isn't available. |

I went through a list of about 30 VFW halls in Worcester county and every one that had ever hosted metal or hardcore concerts decided to stop for one or more of those 3 reasons. |

That means that all the screwing around between sets, the hour and a half late that the headlining band shows up, and the fact that the retard promoter insisted on booking a 5:00 show on a Friday night and had to wait till 8 to start the show because no one showed up... all adds up to about a billion dollars in some drunk cop's pocket. And that's when you can even get a cop to take the job. |
