So, we've got good news and bad news folks... The bad news is: we're not gonna be playing much this fall. One of our moronic band members just got married, people are busy, yadda yadda yadda whatever who cares. Other bad news: we have a twitter account. Add it and get more of our bullshit in front of your eyes: www.twitter.com/hivesmasher Now for the good news: We're making the absolute most of the downtime! First thing first is the shows. We'll go in reverse chronological order, just for shits. 11-27: Rocko's in Manchester NH w/Dying Fetus, The Faceless, Vital Remains, Enfold Darkness, Annotations of an Autopsy, The Summoned, Dismantle the Cyborg, and Conforza. I don't think I need to say much about the insanity of this show. Its an all ages show on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving!) so come on down and catch some of Death Metal's biggest acts in an intimate club. Tickets are $15 in advance, and go up to $18 at the door. We know times are tough, so we're giving away a free copy of our full-length CD "Ascension into Dismal Stages" with every ticket purchased! Drop us an email at hivesmasher@gmail.com, facebook or myspace message, or come out to a show to get a ticket! Speaking of other shows: 10-15: FREE all ages show at UMass Lowell's Fox Common w/The_Network, Robotosauras (Australia), Biclops (NJ), and Pathogenic. What's there to say--its free, and these are some of the best bands around. Lets show the out-of-towners how we do up here in MA! For all the info head on over to our myspace or: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=122881852607&index=1 As for the music.... We're still hard at work writing material for our next release. We're going to spend a lot of time between these shows writing, so expect to hear some new material soon! For a sample of what we've been getting into with the new material, check out a video of us playing Life on The Stress Factor at 91.5 WUML Lowell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yS8XGM7ewlQ If you like what you hear, you can grab a compilation of that and many other live-cuts from area metal acts from the Stress Factor boys at: http://www.myspace.com/thestressfactorradio We'll be seeing you soon! -Tim & Hivemasher
