COMPLETELY UNBELIEVABLE... If you've been following my previous blogs, you know we've been stuck here in beautiful but boring Eugene Oregon since last Sunday, so I'll recap what has happened for all of you over the last week - because it has been awful and we can only apologize to those promoters who wished to help us out with shows and those fans who were waiting to see us. Last Saturday night, after our Sacramento CA show was canceled by the venue (because they lose their license), we decided to head north to Seattle. We broke down on I5 heading toward Seattle for the show in which we were supposed to open for Stratovarius on Sunday. We were in Grant's Pass Oregon and quickly had our battery and altenator replaced so we could continue on. We were able to get the van fixed by 6:30 pm and were on our way when we broke down about half way to Portland AGAIN! This time, the same part we had replaced when we broke down in Missouri earlier in the tour - the onboard computer - had crapped out yet AGAIN! So we had the car towed to a repair shop in Eugene OR. The repair shop wasn't able to even check the car till the next day, and when they did, they told us it would be fixed by Tuesday. Since we were determined to make it to the Stratovarius show, we decided to rent a car and get up there for those two shows. After a big hassle getting a suitable rental we hot-tailed it up to Seattle only to learn that the venue had moved up the show and had canceled our set because we were late. We stayed in Seattle and played our Tacoma show before returning to Eugene to pick up the van on Tuesday. Shortly after leaving the repair shop in Eugene, the car's computer burned out yet AGAIN! and we had to be towed back to Eugene. The repair shop then pushed the situation over to the local dealership who are handling the problem, because the repair shop apparently mis-diagnosed the problem all along. So here we are in Oregon, not exactly sure when we'll be on the road again, and in danger of having to cancel more shows. As a result of this we were unfortunately unable to make scheduled appearances in Las Vegas and Los Angeles and now our show in Oklahoma is also most likely going to have to be canceled. We still hope to make it to New York and New Jersey for our shows with Ross The Boss next weekend - but right now everything is up in the air as we have been screwed over by these repair shops again and again and we are still 3000 miles away from where we need to be. Thanks to everyone who has come out to the shows on our first full US tour and to everyone who has picked up a copy of the new "The End Of Tomorrow" album. We really appreciate the support in this hellish time. Hope to see you all soon. Hope to make up these shows we missed as soon as possible - probably some time next year... Till then, RAVAGE IN PEACE!!! - Al
