Looking to make something people can move to...lots of breakdowns and 2 step riffs and also clean choruses with clean/gang vocals people can sing along to...preferably with an Oceana-esque reverb/echo melodic type feel once in a while....even some synth here and there. We'll be playing somewhere between drop d and drop b flat The main idea is to spread His word but not shove it down people's throats...so crowd participation at shows would be vital. we want people moving, singing along, coming up to us after shows and asking us questions, everything...maybe even a life changing moment or two, who knows. So far we're a vocalist/synth/key player, bassist, and drummer....we all have years of experience and the skill and determination to go somewhere with this. We've been in bands in the local scene and we want to do something more. We've been doing what we do for 10 years each and it's about time we put it to good use. We have a place to practice, we have booking connections, recording equipment, etc, etc...we'll probably even have a full light show by the time we start playing shows. Influence wise we're literally all over the place, but what we want to do is what I described in the first few sentences. Regardless, a few(some strictly musically, others in general) are: For Today, Oceana, Parkway Drive, Sleeping Giant, Stick to Your Guns, Alexisonfire, Haste the Day, Recon, The Devil Wears Prada, Oh, Sleeper, As I Lay Dying, Emery, August Burns Red, Destroy the Runner, Norma Jean(new&old), Inhale Exhale, Underoath, It Dies Today, Gwen Stacy, Thursday, My Hero is Me, The Chariot, The Showdown, A Plea for Purging, Maylene & the Sons of Disaster, Confide We Came as Romans, Ligeia, Emmure, With Blood Comes Cleansing, etc, etc. Requirements: -MUST BE CHRISTIAN -Can commit to at least 2 practices a week, 1+ show a week when we're ready. -Can get to said practices, most likely in Amherst, NH, but we can even give you a ride from Lowell if needed. -Have/can get your own gear, half stack at the very least is a must, tube is preferred -Drive to play shows like crazy -Ability/willingness to tour if the chance arises withing reason. -Some source of income to contribute for merch, gas, gear, studio time, etc. -Backing/harmonizing clean vox would be a huge plus....more so the ability to sing them, writing vocals would be optional. -STAGE PRESENCE; we need someone who will move, guitar tricks, etc. the right people will know exactly what I mean. I can't stress enough how important it is to have this...you NEED to have it, or get it before we start booking. -must have experience, band wise and playing wise -be drama free....which leads to the following: age is not an issue, but please be mature. we joke a lot but also get what we need to done...and we're drama free. -be drug/alcohol free -either record some of your own original riffs or demos from past bands. If you can't record/have no demos but fit the above criteria send a list of bands that influence your playing along with past bands you've been in. If you managed to read all of this, fit the requirements, and are still interested send me an email, I look forward to hearing from you. God bless.
