But people were secretly chosen by officials to head underwater to a lab/base that was set up. The sole reason of this was to have humans live on, without being wiped out by the event. When we got to the lab, we were forced to participate in an experiment where we would sit in vats for months at a time, while authorities injected us with some sort of liquid. The liquid was said to have us elvolve some sort of gill-type thing on our upper neck. This was in case if something was to happen to our underwater stronghold. After a few months of laying stationary in the vat in a coma-like state, I woke up and no one was around. Then I woke up. Shit was deep and intense, and made me late for work. |
