The Dark Tower is not Lord of The Rings style fantasy, it is horror at it's core. Turning a 7-book horror/fantasy epic into a watered down PG-13 trilogy would be a huge disappointment. That being said, I would still be there opening night in hopes that Howard did it right. |

I had read before that the guys who do Lost were gonna do this, which would make sense since they are huge King fans and a lot of the character in Lost are loosely based on the characters from The Stand. |
