(just ask any of my bandmates) besides, colors are for the false anyway
bullshit. Don't feel you have to stay with the norm. (black) My purple drums are beautiful, and people seem to love the way they look.
yea, i was originally thinking of black with chrome or some type of non gloss silver for the hardware, but i figured thats too plain and boring. what colors would be nice if i choose to not use black at all? there are some good candy paint finishes, just afraid i wont like it as much over time, since im pretty traditional when it comes to drum set colors. i love the way my pearl set looks and its just a glossy black with chrome hardware i was thinking about a nice blood red crimson, but im just too afraid when i get it that its not going to the be shade of red that i was looking for. black is safe
