whats the best way to loose a gut? i'm gonna try not drinking beer for a month in addition to my regular workouts but are their any other exercises that are good specifically for this kind of weight loss?
Diet and Cardio.
Had to post in here eventually. Grant's right on the mark with diet (as long as it's the right one) but exercise is NOT the way to lose weight. A lot of people think that if you just use more calories than you consume, you will lose weight and yes, that's right... to a point. What's happening is your body thinking you are literally starving and you generally won't feel very good (your body will eat into your muscle, you'll feel hungry all the time, can cause depression, throw off hormone levels, etc). The way I lost 80lbs in 8 months is by training the body to burn fat for fuel instead of carbohydrates. Once your body feels comfortable doing that, it dips into your fat stores for energy between meals (which shouldn't be that often anyway - intermittent fasting, look it up if you're interested). Blah blah blah not showing off like some might think, I'm just trying to help and share what I've learned. I'm putting myself out there if anybody wants more information. PM me or something.
