Last year I saw him at McCoy Stadium (with Willie Nelson and Mellencamp - Willie Nelson is fucking great) and his voice was pretty bad. I'm hoping the indoor acoustics and maybe a better mix might help, but the bottom line is that the man is a living legend and I own almost all of his albums. Might be my favorite artist depending on the day so I will not miss him live especially right down the street from my house (sort of). |

Best show I've ever seen no contest. 3 1/2 hours non-stop. Dude is not human and absolutely life-changing live. I'm pretty jealous you got to see him in that time frame though, and would have killed to see him touring for "Love And Theft" but life goes on. I still think his current records are absolutely killer though. Together Through Life got a bad rap in certain places and I completely disagree. |
