Not to rain on the parade, but that first half still showcased a lot of holes in the Pats game plan. The 3rd & 11 screen to Gronkowski still has my blood boiling. He's the biggest guy on the field that isn't a tackle and you expect him to pick up 11 yards from scrimmage? Every time we've played the dolphins in the Sporano era it seems like the Pats D is in this deep zone coverage where they play over the top with the linebackers and take the safeties completely out of the play. They're a tight end oriented offense even with Brandon Marshall. The safeties should be playing man on those guys instead of sitting 40 yards back giving up 20 yards in the middle of the field. How many times did Henne convert on 3rd and long or 3rd and a few with a 10 yard cushion on a receiver in prime real estate in the middle of the field. They adjusted to it a lot better in the 2nd half though. There was a run in the 3rd quarter that had Sammy Morris going to the outside where his only blocker was Randy Moss on a safety. Rather than blaming Moss for not doing something he's never done right in his entire career why don't we stop designing plays that hinge on Randy Moss blocking defenders? Bill O'Brien and the "just crazy enough to work" offense still isn't doing it for me.
