Yeah, so I never really knew what the highest bill in US currency is, but today I found pictures of 500 dollar bills from the 30s. William McKinley is on them. I don't know if that is the highest bill though. Anyone know of any higher bill?

my mom brought me to the bank when i was 5 or 6 and had them show me a $500 bill. she told me some banks have 1000 dollar bills, 5000 dollar bills and 10,000 dollar bills. she must be full of shit though. i believe there are $500 bills, although i don't remember seeing it.

seems like it would make it easier for people to jack money.. i dunno like what if you went out and bought a pack of gum for $1 and your $1,000 bill was stuck to it ?

the govt doesn't want the public running around with huge bills.
