_____________________________________ [Mar 21,2011 3:05pm - ouchdrummer ""] Wow.... the comments on that page are surprising. I thought people loved APC, or at least "Mer De Noms".. People say that they're a less interesting TOOL? That sounds pretty dumb to me, yes, they have the same singer, but the musicians don't play or write ANYTHING like TOOL. I mean, not at all. I've always attributed people saying that to them only having heard "Judith" on the radio a couple times, and not ever listening to their whole records. I honestly listen to APC more than TOOL at this point in my life, but that goes back and fourth yearly. |
___________________________________________ [Mar 21,2011 3:23pm - FuckIsMySignature ""] love APC. they sound nothing like Tool. people are idiots. |
___________________________________ [Mar 21,2011 3:31pm - dreadkill ""] i love apc, but i've already seen them live, so i'll probably skip it this time, unless tickets are fairly cheap and there isn't a show i'd rather attend. |

_____________________________________ [Mar 21,2011 3:46pm - ouchdrummer ""] of course the vocals sound the same.... the fact that people think they sound like TOOL just proves that those people only listen to TOOL for his vocals, which i think is BULLSHIT. |

That's about 95% of TOOL fans. Art students who listen to nothing but TOOL and NIN for the vocals rather than the music. That, and they want to be "different." EDIT: don't get me wrong, I like both bands. That was just the summation of all NIN or TOOL fans that went to UMass. Therefore, I'll lump that generalization in for 95% of fans of both bands. |
