It does for me man... when I'm listening to other music, sure I can do other mundane things like get a cup of coffee or take a shit... but Dream Theater makes me get a cup of coffee and take a shit EMOTIONALLY. It was a smart move to worry less about 20+ minute epics and more about keeping songs under control without too much wandering. The song Outcry has a massive riff and that chorus has been stuck in my head basically since I got it. |
