_____________________________________ [Aug 16,2013 9:23pm - rttp pussy ""] can sonic pulse get on this? |
___________________________________________________________ [Aug 16,2013 9:33pm - Big bag of assorted nigger parts ""] Mongrel? Pass. Let it close. Seriously though, this place has changed hands a number of times over the years. Great for bad bar coke. |
________________________________________ [Aug 16,2013 9:37pm - yell in glee ""] Hey! Shut your mouth. |
___________________________________________________ [Aug 16,2013 9:44pm - Small bag of white penis ""] Murrum and rhetoric on this!!! |
______________________________ [Aug 17,2013 6:25am - Lamp ""] The El 'n' Gee is too big a venue for what it tries to be, I'd imagine that place has a very high rent. Sounds good in there though. |
___________________________________ [Aug 17,2013 6:03pm - Seen kid ""] I seen white sabbath and black stripes there. good show. |
____________________________________________________________ [Aug 17,2013 8:36pm - I Wrestled A Shitty Vocalist Once ""] Seems like CT has its own scene in the sense that I don't know any of the bands. Who's played here? Links? I wouldn't mind driving down to see any decent stoner / doom / drone / dark psych / freakout / harsh noise / post-industrial / experimental shows.. OR am I being too specific?!!?.. |
_________________________________________ [Aug 22,2013 4:24pm - ctb0rderpatrol ""] this happens like every 5 years. and everytime theres a concert or CD thats put out that says "all profits go to the gee," annnd they close anyway for a minute until the next person comes around and thinks its a good idea for the main target audience to be kids who are dumb enough to listen to oi and the exploited in 2013. the impact of the gee closing will only be felt by kids under the age of 21, and they're kinda irrelevant as i was when i was 20 years old. i hope to play there with my current band, but i'd also like to have my gas money covered at the very least. the "save the gee"shit is the only promotion i've really seen from that place and im from CT. i should be seeing more of the happenings there. how has cherry st station survived this long? no one's begging me for money to keep the place open..... |
