The band, part of Norway's death metal music scene, was carving up a dead sheep as part of its stage act when the animal's head flew off lead singer Maniac's knife and struck 25-year-old Per Kristian Hagen. Mayhem member Rune Eriksen, whose stage name is Blasphemer, said the action was unfortunate. "The whole thing was an accident, but maybe it would be an idea for another show," he said." haha, i just thought it was great to see that in the newspaper :NEWHORNS: |

Mon Mar 10,12:15 PM ET World - AP Features Norwegian music fan's skull fractured after being hit by sheep head OSLO, Norway - A flying sheep's head hit a concertgoer and fractured his skull at a concert of metal band Mayhem. The band, part of Norway's death metal music scene, was carving up a dead sheep as part of its stage act when the animal's head flew off lead singer Maniac's knife and struck Per Kristian Hagen, 25. The show was Thursday in Bergen, 487 kilometers (302 miles) west of the capital, Oslo. "My relationship to sheep is a bit ambivalent now. I like them, but not when they come flying through the air," Hagen told The Associated Press Monday from his hospital room. "I have a headache now." He is expected to recover. Hagen, a Mayhem fan, filed involuntary assault and battery charges against the band. The charges carry a maximum sentence of six months in prison. Mayhem member Rune Eriksen, whose stage name is Blasphemer, said the incident was unfortunate. "The whole thing was an accident, but maybe it would be an idea for another show," he said. Eriksen promised Hagen a free ticket to the group's next performance. Police detective Carl-Petter Leganger told the AP an investigation has started, but "nothing suggests this was a conscious act." |

I was looking around for different death/black metal and I looked in the Mayhem section and they didnt have anything. So I am walking along and the Mayhem sign cathes my eye. So I turn and there is a copy of Wolf's Lair Abyss in the Nora Jones section? Haha, so I picked it up. Also, does anyone else know that it was mixed by Garm and Knut? |

A barrage of flying fish and pig hearts pelted the audience of the last In Dire Need show ruining many lives, and staining many designer on broken wings shirts. Concert goers were assaulted during the last song when the Toss A Fish Crew totally wailed on everyone and no one did a goddamn thing about it. "I got hit in the face with a Cod...Wahhh" said one young gentlemen in a mall bought poison the well shirt. "How dare those assholes take away attention from my carefully organized messy mod haircut that makes me look tough but sensitive" said some other gaywad. The TAFC have claimed total responsibility for the act, and have vowed this will not be the last time. Film at Eleven. |
