Clutch...decent if youre easily entertained by slow boring riffs. Shadows Fall...so do your hopes when you see them live. All that remains....actually pretty decent, but Nowhere near good enough to justify going to this shitpile of a venue. I agree...those bands suck. |

They have some pretty fucking killer guitar work. And I'd gladly take 80's cheese over mallcore shit any day. Leaps and bounds over most of the other bands Helmet: Meantime is still good today. And plus, they have Frank Bello on bass now. Monster Magnet: They have decent moments. Enough to be better than a good chunk of the other bands there. Clutch: Slow, yeah a lot of the time. Boring? Not really. Shadows Fall: Funny. I've seen 'em live 4 times, and they destroyed every single night. All That Remains: Yeah, they are pretty damn good. Best band there (Aside from Shadows Fall. I'd say they were better if they didn't recently start reminding me so much of Killswitch Engage with the new album) I mean, nothing of this would really justify the ticket price to me, but I'm not paying anyway, since I'm working there. These are just the bands I wouldn't mind actually paying attention to while working. |

Went to the Hempfes to see them. did I say owned the album? no, borrowed it from a friend. without artwork, and considering this was 7 years ago, you're lucky I even knew who the band was ;) |

I like "Elaphant" because of the really bluesy, stoner rock sound it has, very different direction for them at the time. It started on the predassaser for that album "Clutch" I alos dig Helmet and I'm very curious to see what the new lineup sound slike. |
