It could be good sound, guest list, cheap/free food or drinks, security, good set length, good slot # on the show, space to sell merch, time and money into promotion. I don't know ShadowSD or have a clue what the other details would be other than the promise of great sound, and this is nothing personal. There are plenty of places around that book like this and some are worse deals than others. I just think that bands that should have the guarantees, not the promoters, and it's bad for bands and bad for the music scene when people let that switch.[/QUOTE]
