A good place to ask is Boston Beer Works. I know Clarke's at South Station sells its own beer as well.
Me and my aforementioned buddy Aaron have been seriously talking about starting our own brewing company and trying to market to local restaurants/bars/liquor stores. Because of this, at some of the beer fests we've gone to I've asked a couple different brewers for info about license to make/distribute beer. Apparently its not that hard, so i think if we looked into it, we could totally handle it. Whether or not the "metal club" idea gets off the ground, i will definitely still be brewing beer; and still trying to start a brew company. If we succeed in such a thing we would be all about help (orgy) from people we know to get more different kinds of beers to offer. I have been scoping out the storage place across from my place. They have air conditioned storage that would be great for storing fermenting beer, that is unless we get someplace with a good basement first.
