Yes, all that KEVORD and Czarnobog posted. Hetroertzen's set will be candle light only (Maybe even the whole show?). Multiple floor candelabras across the stage and on tables. NY and MD don't have the strict fire laws that MA and RI have. You can't legally use fog machines on stage here, so candelabras are out. Plus they needed a large/raised stage big enough to fit 5 band members and at least 1 6ft table, but ideally 2. Stage requirements ruled out most venues that would be willing to gamble on this type of metal show (O'Briens, Dusk, PA's Lounge, etc....) The promoter is a nice guy, but all the demands weren't listed up front. Everything (aside from the guarantee) came 6 weeks after the venue was booked. Midway tried to meet some of the demands, but the "no locals" and high ticket price were too much for them and they walked. The show was originally at Middle East Up on Sunday, but then the promoter changed the date to Friday and MidEast wasn't interested. So I had already ran around for weeks trying to make this work, only to have it fall apart twice. I took that as a sign and walked away as well. I know the promoter contacted a lot of people and clubs in the New England area, but it seems like no one wanted it.
